The PDI Service Coordinator plays a key role in Nova Bus and Volvo Group as being responsible for coordinating and deploying the PDI activities at delivery sites.

The successful candidate will work mainly at customer sites.

Brief Job Description :

• Upon final plant inspection of the product, prepare the receipt of the bus at customers’ location
• Coordinate PDI plan with location responsible CSR (Customer Service Representative)
• Verify delivery location operates as intended for process of PDI
• Meet the schedule objective (number of buses handed over to customers per week)
• On-site visits to run or support PDI process and team
• Update reports to provide visibility of all deliveries to the PDI Service Manager
• Identify items for feedback through PDI feedback loop and input data for feedback
• Execute activities to support delivery plan and objectives
• Coordinate the timely delivery and the quality standards required : Validate if nonconformity, identified by the customer, meets drawings or standards, and work closely with the contract manager to validate if customer requests are in accordance with the contractEnsure that nonconformity identified has been corrected properly before delivering the bus to the customer
• Identify areas of improvement to process to be escalated to PDI Service Manager
• Support cross-functional department meetings to achieve resolution of customer identified issues (including supplier identified issues)

Requirements :

• University degree in Business or Engineering, considerable relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree
• 5 years’ experience in coordination of cross-functional processes / team
• Ability to travel within the United States and Canada, including overnight

Knowledge and Skills :

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Organized, schedule focused, and customer oriented

For this position, the base salary range is set at $80,500 - $110,100, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
